1. XTCY — 6 pieces
Six capsules of XTCY — the fourth in this family of maca-and-guarana party pills, and the one with the reputation for a lighter morning after. That last part is the actual selling point, and it is worth looking at honestly.
The formula is guarana and maca extract with methyltheobromine, taurine, L-tyrosine, chromium and niacin. Users describe a euphoric, tingling lift that holds up across a night of dancing.
One thing we will not pretend about: these are herbal stimulant capsules. They are not MDMA, they do not contain it, and they do not reproduce it. What they contain is caffeine and related compounds, amino acids and plant extracts, in quantities that are printed on the pack. Buy them for what they are.

3. The “no hangover” claim, examined
XTCY is sold on the promise of a night out without the next morning. There is something real behind that and something overstated, and both are worth knowing:
- What is real: a caffeine-based stimulant does not produce the metabolic aftermath that alcohol or a controlled stimulant does. There is no acetaldehyde, no serotonin depletion. On that comparison the claim holds up.
- What is overstated: a heavy caffeine load still costs you. Disrupted sleep, dehydration and a flat, wrung-out feeling the following day are all real, and they get worse the later in the evening you take it.
- What actually determines your morning: how much you drank, how much water you had, how hot the room was and how much you slept. A capsule does not change any of those.
- The practical version: take it early rather than late, keep drinking water, and do not use it to push through a night your body has already finished with.
3.1 Reading the label
| On the label | What it actually is |
|---|---|
| Methyltheobromine | Caffeine. |
| Guarana extract | A second caffeine source — guarana seed is one of the most caffeine-dense plant materials there is. |
| Taurine | The amino sulfonic acid found in every energy drink. |
| Maca extract | Lepidium meyenii, the Andean root crop, used traditionally as a food and tonic. |
| L-tyrosine | An amino acid, precursor in the dopamine and noradrenaline pathways. |
| Niacin | Vitamin B3. Causes a harmless warm skin flush at higher intakes. |
| Chromium | A trace mineral in normal macronutrient metabolism. |
3.2 How to take it
- Start with one capsule. Quantities are not declared and there are two caffeine sources.
- Water or fruit juice, one hour ahead.
- Three is the stated maximum, not a target.
- Take it early in the evening if the next morning matters to you.
4. Cautions
- Strictly 18+.
- Not a substitute for a varied diet, and never exceed the stated maximum.
- Do not combine with medication or with other stimulants — including energy drinks, coffee and anything else on a night out.
- Never with MAO inhibitors. This is the interaction that matters most on this list.
- Do not use if you have high or low blood pressure, a heart condition, a thyroid disorder, kidney disease, or if you are being treated for depression or anxiety.
- Not during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Go easy on alcohol. Stimulants mask how drunk you are, which is how people misjudge the evening.
- Stimulants plus dancing plus a hot room means dehydration. Water, breaks, and somewhere cooler every so often.
- Keep out of reach of children.
No acetaldehyde is not the same as no consequences. What decides your morning is sleep, water and alcohol — not the capsule.
- Six capsules of guarana and maca with taurine, L-tyrosine, chromium and niacin.
- Sold on a lighter morning after — true against alcohol, less true against a late caffeine load.
- “Methyltheobromine” on the label is caffeine.
- One to three capsules with water or juice, an hour before. Start at one.
- A herbal stimulant. It is not MDMA and contains none.
- Not for anyone with heart or blood pressure problems. 18+ only.
- Order before 16:00 on weekdays for same-day dispatch in plain, unmarked packaging.
