1. 7-OH & Kratom Mouth Spray — Tropical Flavour, 5 ml

A 5 ml tropical-flavoured mouth spray containing 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) alongside kratom. This is the strongest product in our kratom category and it is not comparable to the leaf, the powder or the standard extracts, so this page is written accordingly.

7-OH is a minor alkaloid of Mitragyna speciosa — present in the raw leaf at a fraction of a percent — and it is a substantially more potent agonist at the mu-opioid receptor than mitragynine, the alkaloid that makes up the bulk of ordinary kratom. Concentrating it into a product is a different proposition from selling leaf, and section 3 sets out exactly why.

3. What 7-OH is, and why it is treated separately

This is the section that matters and we would rather over-explain it than under-explain it.

1. Ordinary kratom is mostly mitragynine. That alkaloid makes up the bulk of the leaf’s active content and it is a relatively weak partial agonist at the mu-opioid receptor.
2. 7-OH is a different alkaloid in the same plant. It occurs naturally at a small fraction of a percent of the leaf’s alkaloid content, and it is a considerably more potent mu-opioid agonist than mitragynine.
3. Which means a concentrated 7-OH product is not “strong kratom”. It is a product built around the minor, more potent constituent, which is a different pharmacological proposition from concentrating the leaf as a whole.
4. The dependence and tolerance profile is correspondingly steeper. Everything true of kratom — tolerance, physical dependence, withdrawal — applies here and applies faster.
5. And it is why regulators have separated it out. Several jurisdictions now treat concentrated 7-OH products differently from leaf kratom, including scheduling action in the United States.

3.1 The dosing problem, stated plainly

The supplier has not given us a per-spray dose or a 7-OH content figure for this product, and we are not going to invent one. With a concentrated opioid-receptor agonist, that gap is a real problem rather than a documentation inconvenience. Until we have those figures from the manufacturer:

• One spray. Then stop and wait a full hour. Not two, not “a couple to see”.
• Do not re-dose because nothing has happened at fifteen minutes. That is how people get into difficulty with every product in this class.
• Never on the same day as any other kratom product. You have no way to add up what you have taken.
• Never with alcohol, benzodiazepines, opioid medication, sleeping tablets or any other depressant. This is the combination behind the serious cases in the literature and it is more dangerous here than with leaf.
• Not alone, the first time. Have someone with you who knows what you have taken.

3.2 If you use it regularly

Then the honest thing to say is that a concentrated 7-OH product used regularly carries a real risk of dependence, and a faster path to it than leaf kratom. Space it out deliberately, keep a written record, and treat a need for more as a signal to stop rather than to buy more. If you find you cannot, a doctor or a drug service is the right conversation — kratom and 7-OH dependence are recognised and treatable.

• Not for anyone new to kratom. Start with leaf powder or a standard extract.
• 7-OH is a potent mu-opioid receptor agonist. Tolerance, dependence and withdrawal develop faster than with leaf kratom.
• Never combine with alcohol, sedatives, benzodiazepines, opioid medication or sleeping tablets.
• Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not use with heart, lung, liver or kidney conditions, or with high or low blood pressure, without medical advice.
• Do not drive or operate machinery after use.
• Do not combine with any other kratom product on the same day.
• The legal position on concentrated 7-OH differs from that on leaf kratom and is changing. Check your jurisdiction before ordering.
• Keep out of reach of children and pets.

This is not strong kratom. It is a product built around the leaf’s minor, more potent alkaloid — and that is a different thing, with a steeper dependence profile.
