3. What 20X means, and why 0.2 grams is not a small amount
The multiplier describes concentration against plain leaf. It is not a quality grade and it is not standardised between producers — one company’s 20X will not necessarily match another’s. What it does tell you reliably is that quantities scale down hard:

Three practical consequences follow from this. A kitchen scale is not accurate enough — at these quantities you need one that reads to 0.01 g, because the difference between the first and third row of that table is less than the error on a standard scale.
