1. Indian Spirit Kratom — Super Red (30 capsules)
Thirty vegetarian capsules of Super Red kratom from Indian Spirit. Red vein is the calm end of the range — generally the more mature leaf, and the material most people choose for an evening rather than a morning.
“Super” is a producer’s grade description rather than a regulated designation, in the same way Maeng da is. It indicates leaf the producer rates highly; it does not certify anything.
Per-capsule weight is not stated by the supplier. Start with one capsule and wait, and ask us if you want the figure before ordering.
Legal status: Mitragyna speciosa is legal to sell and possess in the Netherlands. It is banned or controlled in several other countries and remains under regulatory review in the EU and the United States. Check your local law.

3. Grade names
Kratom is sold under a vocabulary of grade names that sound official and are not. Since this product carries one, here is what the common ones actually mean:
- Maeng da — Thai trade slang, roughly “pimp grade”. It means leaf a seller rates as top quality. Not a species, not a variety, not certified by anyone.
- Super — usually indicates larger or more mature leaves selected out of a harvest. Again a producer’s description rather than a standard.
- Premium — typically means the stems have been removed more thoroughly before grinding, leaving a higher proportion of leaf. That is a real processing difference, but the word itself is unregulated.
- Bali, Thai, Borneo, Sumatra — region names, which may describe origin or may describe a style. Treat them as descriptions of type rather than provenance.
- Red, white, green, yellow — vein colour and processing. The most meaningful of the labels, and still not standardised between producers.
3.1 What to actually judge on
- The producer. Since none of the terms are enforced, consistency comes from who processed and packed the leaf. A brand you have had good results from is worth more than any adjective.
- Vein colour, which at least maps onto a real difference in harvest and drying.
- Your own record. Note what you took and how it went, by brand and by strain. Over a few purchases that tells you more than the packaging ever will.
- Consistency between batches, which is the thing a good supplier actually delivers and the thing no label can promise.
4. Cautions
- Not for anyone under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Kratom acts on the body’s opioid receptors. Regular use can lead to tolerance, dependence and withdrawal — this is well documented and is the single most important thing to know before starting.
- Do not combine with alcohol, sedatives, opioid medication or other central nervous system depressants. This combination is where serious harm occurs.
- Do not use if you have heart, lung, liver or kidney problems, high or low blood pressure, or diabetes, without medical advice.
- Do not drive or operate machinery after use.
- Kratom is restricted or banned in several European countries and under active regulatory review elsewhere. Check your local law before ordering.
- Keep out of reach of children and pets.
- The per-capsule weight is not stated by the supplier. Start with one capsule and wait a full hour rather than assuming a figure from another brand.
